I've been having a hard time with Material and Lighting class because no matter what I do, I feel like my lighting just lacks. So I did what any struggling artist in need does - get help. I posted my latest project on Facebook asking for critique and tagged nearly everyone I knew. And then the strangest thing happened... people actually responded, with good and useful advice. Honestly, I was surprised with the amount of feedback I got.
I brought the scene back into Maya, re-did it
with the advice I got, added the textures and this is what it turned into.
Amazing what critique can do, isn't it? Thanks everyone who helped
