Background Design

This is the first assignment from Background and Layout Design. We had to draw a building and background. Originally, I sort of wanted it to be a sort of aircraft carrier, but now I'm not quite sure what it is. Overall, it came out a lot better than I thought it would be, but I still need a lot of practice when drawing backgrounds. At least I have the rest of the quarter to improve :)

Any critique would be much appreciated!

3D Animation: Final Project

Yay! Just finished this earlier today. I'm a lot happier with the outcome than I thought I would be. Unfortunately, I wish I had done some of the transitions different and changed a few things with the actual animating itself. But overall, I'm rather pleased :)

Any feedback is much appreciated!

Storyboarding: Midterms

Here's a background I did for Storyboarding class. I'm working hard to get that painting technique down and slowly getting there I think. I wish I could have made the scene more interesting, but this is what the interior looked like. I'm thinking upping the contrast might make it really pop... might edit later! The quality of the one on here is bad fyi; the original isn't that pixelated.

3D Animation: Another Bouncing Ball?

Okay so I think I'm starting to get the hang of the Graph Editor. This wasn't as frustrating as the last one, but I did have some issues. Hopefully this process will progressively get easier.

This was our midterm assignment for 3D Animation... At least I think it's a midterm.
Open for comments and critique :)

3D Animation - Annoying Balls

I have a new appreciation for traditional 2D Animation. I had so much trouble with the Graph Editor in Maya. It wouldn't listen to me. But overall... I'm still pleased with the outcome. I just wish I knew Maya better, or that the Graph Editor would work, so that I could have done more. Next time!
